The purpose of this operating agreement is
to demonstrate creative thinking and the ability
to cooperate with one another in a virtual
atmosphere with the following objectives

• Understand the importance of our own control
  system
• Utilize highly effective communication skills
• Ensure reliability and commitment of team members

Team Norms

• Participation Each team member must contribute
  a minimum of three postings in discussion style
• Timeliness It is vital to our success that we
  adhere to scheduled deadlines
• Preparation All team members should read the
  assigned material (textbook or other sources)
  before posting
• Information dissemination All postings should
  be relevant to the topic at hand and exhibit
  concise communication
• Deliverables The in-class PowerPoint
  presentation should reflect the consensus of the
  team

Expected Contributions

• Each facilitator will be expected to post a
  working PowerPoint presentation for review on
  Monday and feedback regarding the PowerPoint
  presentation will be considered if received by
  Tuesday
• We will each gladly listen to any ideas or
  opinions and will discuss them with an open mind
  as every idea deserves equal attention and
  consideration
• This is a learning experience for each team
  member so we will keep in mind that everyone has
  different abilities

Non-performance Consequence Management

• Dropping Management 3100/01
• If a situation arises in which a task cannot be
  completed as scheduled we will contact the team
• If the facilitator fails to initiate and organize
  the discussion by midnight on Friday, the
  designated back up facilitator will take over
• Failing to adhere to facilitator responsibilities
  can result in termination from the group without
  valid reasoning

Conflict Resolution

• We will incorporate a utilitarian approach in the
  instance that conflict arises
• If conflict arises the groups consensus will
  rule
• Conflicts should be resolved entirely to avoid
  hindering the discussion progress
