- Stephen did not have an easy childhood.
- When he was just a child, his father abandoned
King, his brother, David, and his mother, Nellie
Ruth Pillsbury King. - Young Stephens family was constantly moving
because of it. - Later on, when he was in elementary school, King
was overweight, wore dirty clothes, and was very
unpopular. - He loved to write even as a child.
3Young Adulthood
- King s young adulthood was fairly good.
- He was very popular in The university of Maine at
Orno and was recognized throughout the campus
partly because of his news paper column. - Tabitha King married him while in the middle of
her school year. - Stephen King graduated with an English degree.
4.Later
- Later things got much worse for Stephen King.
- Many people looking for jobs had an English
degree like him. - King often wrote short stories that were hardly
ever excepted. - He also taught an English course.
- Stephen King had to support his family with his
lack of writing jobs and income. - Sometimes he drank too much.
- Eventually, things started to look up.
- He wrote Carrie and would be receiving a good
amount of money. - From then on King only wrote and became an
exceptional horror writer.
5Now
- Now Stephen King is known throughout the horror
world. - He has stopped writing ever since the car
accident. - The former writer has written over 40 novels
which more than half of have been turned in to
movies. - He lives with his with wife in Bangor, Maine in a
large mansion and has three kids. - Although King has a lot of money, he does not
live an overly extravagant life.

Remainders. - King likes animals and motorcycles.
- He got hit by a car while going on one of his
morning walks. - King owns three radio stations in his homeland
Maine. - In Guinness he was said to have the most movie
adaptations of books of any living author. - His books have been published in 33 languages and
in 35 countries. More than 300 million of his
novels are in publication.
