Title: Stereo Imaging
1Stereo Imaging S2
2Stereoimaging
Using Stereo Webcam program
And Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 program
Obtained many testers of creating stereoimages.
3EXAMPLE
4Unfortunately best to save images as bmp images
So as a treat(prepare your 3-D glasses)

NASA surely cant be wrong!!!
Well find out anyway
6Being NASAs policy Everythings complicated!
On Sojourner, flat black sheet with 17 x 17
grid of white circles used, with perfect
separation and probably expensive equipment
Being a students policy Everything must be
simplified (dumbed down)
Bit of A4 lined paper with a ruler, a
pencil/permanent marker, and a Rich.
Extremely Cost Effective!!!

8Initially the Sine rule is used to determine the
distance from one camera (say camera 2), to the
object.
1
2
Then basic trigonometry is used to ascertain the
perpendicular distance from the system.
1
2
Once these two distances are know, the distance
to any point, of known distance relative to the
camera, can be calculated.
Where (a) is known and angles B and A can be
found from the image obtained.
9Screen
To find angles B, C and A, a screen of known size
is placed in front of the camera and moved closer
until it covers the whole field of view. The
distance from camera to screen is recorded.
