Personal Background

• R.C. Gorman is a contemporary Navajo artist who
  depicts mostly Native American Women
• He was Born in Chinle, New Mexico, and grew up on
  a reservation.
• His father was also an artist, and one of the
  famous Navajo code talkers during World War II.
