  goes by, obesity continues to grow.
• Americans exercise less and eat more.
  Seventy-three percent of adults are obese and 43

  overweight can lead to diabetes, high blood
  pressure,
• stroke, heart disease, arthritis, and some
  cancers. Of all races, African-Americans have the
• highest obesity rates in the United States,
  especially African-American women and children.
