Description of the system to be simulated
Drum hosting machine
  • Drum hosting machine was developed from simple
    winch
  • The basic type is hosting machine with two drums
  • Hosting machine is useful for transportation
    miners and spoil from mine
  • Double-drummed hosting machine has two hoisting
drums and two ropes with two cages, which drive
    alternately up and down.
  • Parts of hosting machine
  • rope drums, ropes, main-line blocks, hoisting
    cages, engine

4
Objectives of the system simulation
  • Our target was to simulate
  • Acceleration of the hoisting machine
  • Usual run of the machine
  • Stopping the machine by primary engine
  • All simulation proceed in DYNAST software.

5
Strategy of modeling dynamics of the system
  • Our modeling strategy was
  • Simulation of a simple winch
  • Influence weight of unwoven rope
  • Deliberation elasticity of the rope
  • Inertia of rotaring drum
  • Inertia of rope wound on a drum
  • Adition of oxygen resistance
  • Construction of dynamic speed regulator

6
Subsystems and validation of their models
  • We tested our outcomes, and we found out, that
they are enough for global perspective
  • In reality are many other aspects and influences,
which could affect behavior of the machine

Reflections on experiences gained during the
project
  • We learned how to simulate physical situations in
    the computer
  • We obtained experiences with work in teams
  • We found out how to work by a plan and with a
    deadline
