Aims of the Beyond Partnership project
  • Aims of this project are to investigate/address
  • whether the current nature of partnership working
    in the delivery of ITT is sustainable
  • the adequacy of development opportunities for
    those involved in the delivery of ITT, including
    those who are based in higher education
    institutions, schools and other settings
  • the ways in which the current system reflects
    ITTs capacity to evolve to meet the needs of
    21st century schools, and the ways in which ITT
    school partnerships can offer an infrastructure
    for training and development of the whole
    childrens workforce in schools

Key principles behind the Beyond Partnership
project
  • Outcomes
  • partnerships which are richer, more coherent,
    more efficient, make better use of resources and
    expertise, support key policy changes, improve
    pupil learning and life chances. These models
    will
  • explicitly and intentionally support the
    organisational objectives of each of the partners
    and
  • exploit and contribute effectively to
    developments arising from the current context of
    extended and remodelled schools and other key
    national educational priorities.
