who do!
- About Publicdrum
- Public Drum and SyndicateUs was created by a
group of performers, venue owners and technology
geeks seeking a more efficient way to distribute
their event listings to newspapers and websites. - They began in 2007 and have evolved as more
people began to use the services - and suggest
improvements. - The service was made available to the general
public in March of 2008. - Publicdrum is non profit, collaboratively
developed and all services are free. - Users can enter event listings ONE time and
employ technology to distribute them. - Conversely if publishers can reliably find
content for their readers they will look for your
events here. - Public Drum provides an easy to use interface to
the powerful technology of SyndicateUs. - Our belief is that if events are easily available
to publishers - they'll display them.
3 Imagine if.....
- The state tourism website had absolutely EVERY
event - including yours. - Each hotel guest received a comprehensive list of
events occurring that night within 25 miles. - You could reach all forms of News media as
easily as you now reach traditional outlets. - You could solve the problem of dilution too many
web forms for contributors, incomplete content
for the publisher. - You can save time and promote as effectively as
larger organizations. - And imagine this could be done - for free
4 Consider these
facts
- A calendar is only as useful as its content.
- Event listings have commercial value. Your events
matter! - There are too many places to submit event
listings and too little time to reach them all.
5Publicdrum is a cooperative effort uniting people
with events to web and media outlets. A simpler
process helps everyone save time - and promote
better!
6Today, contributors edit their web pages, fill
out some web forms, send emails - again and again
for each event. A huge waste of time!
7Contributors maintain their events ONE time in
ONE place. Publicdrum provides them for free to
anyone who will display them to the public.
8Everyone benefits publishers don't process
submissions, contributors enter them once - and
the public gets accurate information regardless
which outlet they use.

10Three steps to Save time and Promote better!
Take note of this website! http//www.easymediali

- Step 1. Get your events to the Media -
Newspapers, Broadcasters and Web calendars - Most of us keep media lists - and we send a copy
of each of our events to each outlet. - Publicdrum will do exactly the same thing -
except easier and better. - Media lists are shared among all users. Not
having to figure out where to submit an event is
a HUGE help to new users. - A search form is available to help you find where
events are currently submitted. -
- If one of the media outlets you use is missing
-add it! - When you enter your events, Publicdrum matches
them to each media outlets submission
requirement - and sends them in a weekly email!
11How to add media outlets
- Add a New Outlet dont forget
www.easymedialist.com ! - Where would you like the events sent?
