Design Life and Use Environment

• Ball Level 1 EEE Parts Program Plan (GSFC level 2
  plus)
• EEE parts selection, screening, and qualification
  requirements per NASA 311-INST-001 Level 2
  program
• Perform part history evaluations and destructive
  physical analysis to assure that
  reliability-suspect parts are avoided
• Derive and maintain program-unique advanced parts
  list
• Chair program parts control board

EEE Parts Program - Results to Date
Rand Payton Need a good list from SwRI from SwRI
to get a good count part levels. Not anticipating
a problem.

• No Plastic Microcircuits used in design
• All parts for Ball design hardware has been
  approved.
• EEE Parts in SwRI supplied hardware (CDH and
  power supply) are in review.

Rand Payton No PEMs assuming we decide on using
the power hungry LM6172 rather than than the
plastic AD8038
