Preliminary Credential
Professional Clear Credential
BTSA is a two-year program, and it must be
completed during the first two years of teaching
with a preliminary or clear credential. For
teachers with a Preliminary Credential, a BTSA
option for obtaining a Professional Clear
Credential must be selected during the fall
semester of the first year of teaching.
Applications to participate in BTSA during the
2003-2004 school year are due November 26, 2003.
After that date, the only option for obtaining a
Professional Clear Credential will be a
university fifth year of study.
