3- The B.Eng program provides part time top-up
degree to IVE Higher Diploma graduates from the
following Program, or equivalent programs - Electrical Program
- Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Pass with an average grade of C
- Working Experience (at least 12 weeks) is
preferable
4The BEng program is equivalent to the 3rd and 4th
years of an RMIT University DegreeProgram in

5Total 192 credit points(24 credit
points/semester x 8 semesters/program)Normally,
each module carries 12 credit points and there
are 3 semesters per year.
6B.Eng (Electrical) Program
7Normally, each course (12 credit points) consists
of 24 hours of lectures/ tutorial 6 hours pre-
exam workshop 6 hours lab work
8Timetable (For Reference Only) Almost classes are
held in weekday evenings
9Method of Delivery
- Distance learning mode with access to a complete
range of learning support materials from RMIT
(course learning guide, laboratory manuals with
reference materials and online access are
available for each course) - Laboratory work and tutorial support on site at
VTC - Each semester consists of 14-15 weeks with 2
courses (12 credit points each) in each semester
10- Tuition fee is AUD1,720 per course (12 credit
points) - The program is eligible for the HKSAR Non-means
Tested Loan (Full Tuition Fees)
11- Scholarship
- RMIT University will offer each student a
Scholarship of AUD1,600 per program, i.e.
AUD100 per module.
12- Textbook Allowance
- VTC will offer each student a Textbook Allowance
in each semester. The amount will depend on the
exchange rate of the tuition fee.
13Recognition
- The program is provisionally accredited by the
Engineers Australia (the former I.E.Aust. ) - Graduates fulfilled the academic requirements for
EA corporate membership.

- 23 replies from 40 graduates
