UNHCR -1, Ministry of Environment (GEF)- 1 WFP
-1) - Interacting with UN Agenices to develop project
under Special Voluntary Fund (SVF) - Partnerships and networking with VIOs, NGOs, CSOs
to promote V4D and MDGs - Support to Bangladeshi UNVs going on
international UNV assignments - Currently 30 Bangladeshi UNVs are serving as IUNV

- The NUNV concept was developed globally in the
early 1990s - It provides an opportunity for national
individuals to devote a period of their
professional life to serve for the people without

particularly in combination with IUNV is an
effective means to build and strengthen local and
national capacity
