• Who We Are
• A non-profit consortium of the Shellfish
  Departments of the six towns on Martha's Vineyard
  - begun in 1976
• Governed by a twelve member executive board from
  each of the six member towns
• Staff - Two year-round biologists 3-4 seasonal
  employees
• Mission - to preserve and expand the Island's
  shellfisheries
• (75 of program is operation of regional
  shellfish hatchery)
• Production- 18-20 million seed
• Budget - 200,000/yr ( local taxes, grants,
  private donations)
