  community and tertiary Cardiology programs
  through selection of a common information system.
• Existing database product will have elimination
  of support effective June, 1999 and is not Y2K
  compliant.
• System not eligible for ACC Data Registry

• Selection of a system that participates in the
  American College of Cardiologys National Data
  Registry.
• Selection of a system that is Year 2000
  compliant.
• Selection of a system that has multiple modules
  for a variety of services, e.g. Cardiac Cath,
  EKG, Echocardiology, etc.

• Selection of a system that is capable of
  interfacing with each institutions clinical
  information system and hemodynamic monitors.
• Selection of a multifunctional system that
  addresses issues along the continuum of care
  (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.)
