• I started by collecting flowers from different
  trees and flowers in my neigborhood. After
  removing the stamens I made slides by rubbing
  them in glycerine.

• Most of the samples yeilded either poor amounts
  of pollen, or were uninteresting to look at.
• Surprisingly my best samples came from an
  unlikely source.

• Bee pollen collected by honey makers and sold
  as a nutritional supplement yielded many of my
  best pictures.
• Unfortunately it is impossible to know what
  flower each grain came from
