Legal Counsel

• Legal counsel for customs matters and foreign
  commerce for importers and exporters, public and
  private bodies, as well as foreign governments as
  far as the application of the regulations of
  these matters, including advisement in the
  interpretation and application of the different
  international treaties to which Mexico is party.

Procedures

• Presentation of legal opinions before the
  Federal Public Administration Authorities, such
  as Secretary of the Economy and the Tax
  Administration Service, in order to attain
  favorable resolutions for our clients interests,
  including
• Application and approval of authorizations or
  concessions of strategic supervised areas and
  fiscal warehouses before the Tax Administration
  Service.
• Handling of matters related to the enforcement of
  regulations and duty free restrictions.

• Application for enrollment into the registry of
  importers, exporters and specific sectors.
• Negotiations with customs authorities for the
  inclusion of exclusive customs for the
  importation of certain types of merchandise found
  in Appendix 21 of the General Rules of Foreign
  Commerce.
• Support and negotiation for the inclusion of
  companies into the registry for origin of review,
  as well as into the registry of certified
  companies.

• Negotiations with customs authorities aimed at
  obtaining the creation or modification of the
  general rules regarding foreign commerce.
• Negotiation to obtain import permits from the
  appropriate authorities.
• Application for the authorization of companies
  under the new Decree for the Promotion of the
  Manufacturing Industry, Twin Plants and Export
  Services.
• Negotiation with the appropriate authorities for
  the creation of Official Mexican Standards
  (NOMs) and Mexican Standards (NMXs).

Logistics

• We run analyses of the elements that comprise the
  logistics chain of the company aimed at finding
  the best alternatives for the transportation and
  distribution of its products.
• Permanent relationships with shipping lines, land
  and train carriers, both domestic and foreign.
• Links with companies that work in the development
  of industrial parks and distribution centers.

Customhouse Clearance

• A successful customhouse clearance means counting
  on the assistance of a customs broker, who as
  legal representative for his or her client, has
  the knowledge and training regarding the
  material, as well as being personally involved in
  the operations regarding the legal
  responsibilities of the undertaking.
• We have our own offices for the customhouse
  clearance at CD Juarez/ El Paso, Nuevo
  Laredo/Laredo, Lazaro Cardenas and at the Mexico
  City Customhouse (Pantaco), as well as other
  customhouses with associated custom brokers at
  Altamira, Coatzacoalcos, Colombia, Manzanillo,
  Monterrey and Veracruz.

Foreign Commerce Audits

• Supervision after clearance of the operations of
  foreign commerce, with the objective proving the
  legal importation or exportation of merchandise
  and in this case, suggest solutions aimed at
  avoiding contingencies, standardize its fiscal
  and customs status and take advantage of the
  different legal recourses available to companies.
