• Purpose To provide a uniform to fit the athletic
  body type for AF members

  fabric for use in AF uniforms

• Pullover sweater - AAFES
• Purpose To develop an alternative pullover
  sweater, using an acrylic yarn

  with SDU and commercial sizing, improve fit, and

• ABU shares 3 colors with Army Combat Uniform
  (ACU)
• Air Force will use any solid colored item
• ABU pattern is similar to ACU

Basic shape remains the same
CAMOUFLAGE FABRIC
Pixilated pattern in four colors tan, grey,
green, and blue. Wash-and-wear fabric is medium
weight 50 cotton, 50 nylon.
