the November elections was subsequently asked
to join the administration. He is Director of
Communications, reporting to the Director of
National Intelligence, a position that
coordinates the work of the 16 United States
intelligences such as the CIA, the Defense
Intelligence agency others. He gives us a
brief overview of the new administration's
management of national security.

- Tom has been the head of French and Francophone
Studies at Penn State and recently awarded a
named professorship. - He has several books to his credit-Two volumes
co-edited with a former student an anthology of
womens songs from West Africa a collection of
papers given at a colloquium on womens songs - -An anthology of African literature written in
African languages, co-edited with a colleague at
Princeton - -A revised updated book on the late Martinican
author and political leader Aimé Césaire - -A critical analysis of Frances neo-colonial
relationship with francophone Africa -
