9th ANNUAL WALK-A-THON on SEPT 12, 2004
(SUNDAY) at 9 AM at MANASQUAN RESERVOIR
PARK HOWELL NJ

• INSTRUCTIONS TO LEADERS
• GENERAL
• Leader should be a role-model to the Community.
• Leader should work with a goal of recruiting 10
  walkers.
• All Leaders are responsible for managing his/her
  group of Walkers. Leader is responsible to send
  sign-up packets to Walkers, explain them the
  Foundation details, explain Walk-A-Thon details,
  explain Walker responsibility to raise a minimum
  of 100. Leader is also responsible to collect
  money from the Walkers after the Walk-A-Thon.
• Leaders must report the progress, once in a week,
  to Foundation President Madhavi Polepalle by
  calling at 732-679-8497
• A Leader should also be a Walker and should keep
  a goal of raising 100 or more.
• All Leaders will receive Community Leadership
  Awards for organizing the Walk-A-Thon as shown on
  the next page. Leaders are also eligible for
  Prizes as shown on the next page.
• SPONSORS
• The Leader should contact sponsors to raise
  donations. Please contact as many sponsors as
  possible. Start contacting the sponsors today.
• The Leader can suggest the sponsors to pledge 10
  or more. If possible collect money in advance.
• Ask Sponsors if their Company matches donations.
  If yes, please write company name in the Pledge
  Form.
• The Leader should keep track of sponsors
  address, telephone number, and amount
  pledged/paid on the Pledge Form.
• Request sponsors to make the checks payable to
  HELP Foundation.
• DAY OF WALK-A-THON
• Report promptly by 9.00AM to the Walk-A-Thon
  location.
• Collect Pledge Forms from your group and turn-in
  to the organizers.
• Before coming to Walk-A-Thon, make a copy of
  Pledge Form and keep the copy with you.
• You must turn in your Pledge Form and the money
  collected at Walk-A-Thon.
