12th World Scout Moot (2004.7.292004.8.10
) Taipei Expedition Center - 1

• At the 35th World Scout conference in
  Durban, South Africa, Taiwan got the opportunity
  to hold the 12th world Scout Moot. Taipei City
  Council is responsible for Taipei Expedition
  Center. The programme Modules including
• Natural Discovery
• Community
• Culture exploration
• Three programme provides valuable
  opportunity for Rover to experience the life in
  Taipei, to learn the history culture and social
  structure of the local communities.

JOTA JOTI
The Jamboree-On- The-Internet is an annual
worldwide event held simultaneously by all third
Saturday and Sunday of October every year.
It provides an excellent opportunity for Scouts
in various countries to communicate with each
other through the internet and amateur. In
our Council, exhibition, and games are also
arranged for the festival.

Founding Day
In 1912, the first scout troop was organized
on 25th February, which is now the Founding Day
of Scouts of China. Taipei City Council has
a Founding Day Gathering.

Program for youth

• Merit Badge Program
• The merit badge program, which provides
  opportunities for youth to explore a lot of
  fields of skill and knowledge, plays key role in
  the fulfillment of Scoutings educational
  commitment.

Summer Camp

• The aim of the summer camp is by providing
  an enjoyable, attractive and worth-while scheme
  of progressive training and to operate Patrol
  System in the troop.
