8Is there PHYSICS interest of the UK community for
SP2?If so, How can we proceed and make it
happen

11In addition to that what was written by Faical
the UK groups are involved in the following
SPIRAL2 LoI 1, 3, 5, 6, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 8, 9,
14, 15,16, 18 (all together 35 physicists) They
have signed also the recent TDRs S3 (P. Butler,
R. Herzberg (Liverpool-U) EXOGAM2 University
of York, Liverpool, Surrey, Manchester STFC
Daresbury and DESIR United Kingdom 4
institutes / 9 collaborators CCLRC, Daresbury
John Simpson University of Edinburgh Phil Woods
University of Manchester Jon Billowes, Paul
Campbell University of Surrey Wilton Catford,
Bill Gelletly, Zsolt Podolyak, Paddy Regan, Phil
Walker The UK groups are involved in the
SPIRAL2 Preparatory Phase in PARIS (Daresbury,
York, Surrey) EXOGAM (Liverpool) And they have
the EC subvention of 101k for the technical
tasks on the detectors. PRIVATE PARIS project
turns out to be very interesting for a UK group
who is planning to use such array at J-Lab .
This is a real opportunity as their bid for
funds would be from a different community and
thus outside the huge amount of money that STFC
had allocate to UK people involved in NUSTAR EXEL
was not approved ( financed by STFC), thus there
is an opportunity to get those from UK who
applied for a bid for EXEL to convert into
GASPARD! DESIR and DESPEC has large overlap ( but
this Bertram is aware of and it will certainly
work out by itself) According to some latest news
some UK people would like to join FAZIA , this is
also a virgin avenue to seek contribution from UK
