The Word logos (in Greek) As a philosophical
term, logos referred to the principle of the
universe, even the principle that brought the
universe into being the blueprint. What is in a
word? Word that which is used for communication
of thoughts, ideas, plans, etc As the Word, the
Son of God fully conveys and communicates God to
us. The Apostle John refer to Jesus as the Word
of God Jesus is Gods self-disclosure The word
identify the Son of God as the divine expression
in human form (John 114). He is the image of
the invisible God (Colossians 115), the
expressed image of Gods substance (Hebrews 13).
Before the creation of a material universe
there was the Word. When time began, the Word was
already in existence.
