Introduction of Muslim population
  • The worlds Muslim population is expected to
    increase to 2.2 billion by 2030 up from billion
    today .
  • From 1990 to 2010 the global Muslim population
    increase at an average annual rate of 2.2
    compared with the project rate 1.5 for the
    period from 2021 2030.
  • A majority of the world Muslims (about 60) will
    continue to live in the Asia pacific region,
    while about 20 live in the middle east and north
    Africa.
  • The largest number of population country is
    Indonesia which is home to estimate 242 million
    Muslims (about 87 of the population.
  • The second highest population country is Pakistan
    and current population of Pakistan is 198 million
