Magnetic Remote Transformer Constant voltage
drivers are designed to provide a single, steady
direct current (DC) output voltage. The most
common constant voltage drivers, also known as
power supplies, typically output 12VDC or 24VDC.
LED lights rated for constant voltage specify the
required input voltage to ensure proper
operation. A constant voltage power supply takes
standard line voltage (120-277VAC), the same type
of power provided by household outlets.
These drivers convert the alternating current
voltage (VAC) to a low direct current voltage
(VDC), consistently maintaining the set voltage
regardless of the current load.
