• STEP 1 MAKING CHANGES IN THE PROTECTION
• Open Bitdefender from the system tray.

• Turn off Bitdefender Shield. Confirm any user

Go to "Settings" and disable scanning
options for CD/DVD, mapped

Click on "Privacy" below "Protection." In "Safepla
y," go to Settings and turn off all three
toggles. Return to Privacy.
In Password Manager settings, go to Settings and
turn off the Wallet toggle. Return to
Privacy. Turn off Anti Tracker and disconnect
Bitdefender VPN.

In Video Audio Protection settings, turn off
Webcam Protection and Microphone Monitor.
Return to Privacy. In Parental Control, configure
and unassign devices as needed.
In Utilities, settings, turn

Profile "Activate
Profiles Automatically." Confirm any
prompts. The process of disabling Bitdefender on
Windows is complete.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS TO DISABLE BITDEFENDER MAC
Click on the Bitdefender icon in the top bar of
your Mac desktop. Select "Open Antivirus
Interface" and wait. In the right pane, click "Pre
ferences" at the bottom. Toggle off Bitdefender
Shield and specify a duration in the pop-up. In
the "Protection" pane, go to the "Anti-
