The Craftsmanship Behind Rotors and Stators at
Galip Trenchless Oil Equipment Ltd.
Pioneering Mud Motors in Drilling Operations In
the specialized field of drilling operations, mud
motors are indispensable. These motors are the
backbone of drilling activities, and their
efficiency largely depends on the quality of
their rotors and stators. At Galip Trenchless
Oil Equipment Ltd., we take immense pride in our
meticulous approach to manufacturing these
critical components. The Collective Effort in
Crafting the Rotor For the rotor, we choose 45
steel, a high-quality material that we source
from Laiwu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Once
we have the material, our team proceeds with heat
treatment, aiming for a hardness level between
240-280HB. After achieving the desired hardness,
we straighten the rotor and conduct a
comprehensive quality inspection to ensure it
meets our stringent standards. downhole drilling

the rotor spiral. We set the milling machine to
carve 7 threads with a lead of 540mm. After
milling, we focus on pre-plating polishing using
a sand belt. This prepares the rotor for the
subsequent chrome plating, where we ensure a
minimum plating thickness of 20mm. Another round
of quality inspection follows to verify the
integrity of the plating. directional drilling

fine polishing to ensure the rotor meets the
required level of smoothness. This is followed by
another quality inspection. Finally, we process
the threads at both ends and conduct one last
quality check. The Stator's Journey to
Excellence For the stator, we opt for material
from Hubei Xinye Steel Co., Ltd. Similar to the
rotor, the stator undergoes heat treatment to
reach a hardness level between 277-331HB. After
straightening and conducting a quality
inspection, we move on to injection molding. We
select a matching core shaft and complete the
injection process, maintaining reasonable
pressure control. The stator is then vulcanized
to shape. It's worth noting that our rubber
formula is unique, with over 70 of the rubber
ratio sourced from Japan. drilling mud

rubber from both ends and proceed with thread
processing. A final quality inspection ensures
that the stator meets all our quality standards.

Differential Test Based on intermittent test
results, we make timely adjustments to the
rotor's processing volume. It's crucial to
understand that the interference fit must be
controlled depending on the season to maintain
optimal performance.
