Long-grain rice that has been steamed before
being dried is known as parboiled basmati rice.
This implies that before further processing, the
rice is partially boiled in its inedible outer
layer.
In addition to improving rice storage efficiency,

healthier choice. Rice other than basmati is more
difficult to prepare and has a worse aroma.

Long Grain Basmati Rice
The most well-known type of long-grain basmati
