Title: Common data environment
1common data environment
Common data environment is document management
and storage platforms. A user can organize,
maintain, control and can share all documents
among the people of responsible teams. All of us
know,
2An integrated central repository for the project
users to store, maintain, control and share all
- Introduction information pertaining to the
- project. CloudBLM platform
- enables users to collaborate from a Single
source of truth, supporting digital storage (ISO
19650) of all BIM related information such as
the BIM model, assets, drawings and documents.

4The models published from the authoring CAD
tools are organized according to projects, sub-
projects, and their relationship to the parent
models
- Publishing models from native software without
losing design data is vital for collaboration
between design and execution teams. It also
enables enhanced tracking of all model data
including the revisions and iterations.
Model Management
Utilize the IFC OpenBIM Import Export to
collaborate with users outside the CloudBLM
platform. Models from different CAD authoring
tools can be combined to create a federated
model and download as a single IFC file.
5Document Management
Document Management acts as a central repository
for all the project related documents which will
enable the users to create, maintain and modify
all Construction Project related documents in
CloudBLM which can be accessed from anywhere and
anytime
Central Administration of all the documents by
Document Admin to control and govern the
incoming data across the project Create
designated Folders and Sub Folders for efficient
user experience while accessing files
6Drawing Management
Drawing Management is a central repository for
storing all project related 2D Sheets generated
from CAD tools such as Revit, and it allows you
to review and manage them within CloudBLM.
The hierarchy of folders for drawing management
is pre-defined Designated permissions for each
folder and drawing for data access control
7Asset Management
Enforce organizational standards throughout your
projects using the Global Asset Management and
Revit Content Management systems to maintain and
manage the global project assets (Revit
content) and their corresponding libraries.
- The repository is a central location for
organizing, managing, and sharing all assets.
Ensure project teams are maintaining recommended
standards. Provides access to the complete asset
