1The Science
- The real need of a dietician or nutritionist is
not for losing the weight only, but to maintain
the state of wellness. We need to understand the
real composition of the body and the kind of food
that we need to chose to make it a balanced food.
To make the concept easy to understand I will try
to give a few examples here.
2- Whenever we purchase a new phone, a new car, a
new laptop we try to understand the new features.
- Working with computers we have to understand the
basics of how Microsoft Word, excel, power point
etc works??
- Working with accounts we try to balance the
income and expenditure in a balance sheet and
deposit the taxes basis on that??
- Any unexplained income or expenses without proof
is considered a theft.

3Same is with the body and diet, if we understand
the basics of body, the right combination of
protein, fats, carbohydrates etc we would choose
our food options accordingly, so that balance is
maintained.

4You can cheat yourself but not your body?
It is going to reflect on your body. It takes
years to develop hypertension, Diabetes,
cholesterol, cancer, rheumatoid etc to happen. A
lot of physiological changes happen in the body
before we finally get to have the symptoms. Like
we would have the Diabetes type2 only when there
is insulin resistance in the body and 80 beta
cells of pancreas are been destroyed. We get the
hypertension when most of our arteries are gone
under atherosclerosis (Hardening of blood
vessels).
5Heart Attack occurs only when more than 70 to 80
heart artery or arteries are blocked and oxygen
supply to the heart is choked. Similarly with
other diseases too the PCOD, rheumatoid
arthritis, Cancers, Alzheimers, depression,
dementia, chronic liver disease, kidney disease,
obesity to name a few. Or go to a driving school
every time you want to go out on the road in your
car?? You just press the right key or go in right
lane. Because once you know it you know it!! Same
with food once you know it, you choose it. So,
stay balanced, stay fit and stay Healthy.
