• About IIEST
•  
• IIEST, Shibpur (Erstwhile "Bengal Engineering
  College") ranks 21th among engineering institutes
  in NIRF-2020. In 2014, it is the first Indian
  college Institute of Engineering Science and
  Technology (IIEST) in India. With its rich past,
  the institute gained popularity among aspirants
  targeting engineering. Since 1856, it has
  empowered the country. It is the third
  engineering college in India, given the year of
  establishment, but it is the 2nd oldest
  engineering college in India, considering
  graduation. It has sixteen departments and eight
  schools. It has over 250 members of the faculty
  and a student strength of over 4000.
