ALL ABOUT ROSACEA
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition
that mainly affects the face ,it causes flushing
and visible blood vessels on the face, it can
also produce small pus filled bumps, the causes
of rosacea is still unknown and there is no such
cure.
The main trademark symptoms of this condition is
small red bus filled bumps on the skin which are
present during flare ups, this condition many
effects the skin of nose, cheeks and forehead.
This condition can be mistaken for acne, natural
ruddiness and other skin problems.
Types-
There are four main types of rosacea-
Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea- In this
condition the Symptoms include skin
discoloration, visible blood vessels, flushing
and blushing of skin.

Papulopustular rosacea- In this the symptoms
include swelling flushing,and breakouts that
resemble acne.
Phymatous rosacea- Also known as rhinophyma, 
usually affects men and is often accompanied by
another subtype of rosacea symptoms here include
bumpy skin, thickened skin.
Ocular rosacea- Eye redness and irritation and
swollen eyelids are the most common symptoms. 
Signs-
Rosacea signss are different between each subtype.

-flushing and redness in the center of your
face -visible broken blood vessels -swollen
skin -sensitive skin -stinging and burning
skin -dry, rough, and scaly skin

2. Signs of acne rosacea
-acne-like breakouts and very red skin -oily
skin -sensitive skin -broken blood vessels that
are visible -raised patches of skin
3. Signs of thickening skin -bumpy skin
texture -thick skin on nose -thick skin on chin,
forehead, cheeks, and -ears -large pores visible
broken blood vessels

4. Signs of ocular rosacea -bloodshot and watery
eyes -eyes that feel gritty -burning or stinging
sensation in the eyes -dry, itchy eyes -eyes that
are sensitive to light -cysts on eyes -diminished
vision -broken blood vessels on eyelids
The most common sign and symptoms of rosacea
includes-
Visible veins- In this small blood vessels can be
seen on the nose and cheeks break , these are
also called Spide veins.
Swollen bumps- Many people have high  risk of
developing pimples on the face that resembles of
acne these bumps are swollen and contains pus
inside them.
Flushing and Blushing on face- This condition can
cause persistent flushing and blushing on the
central part of the face, this signs can be hard
to identify on Black and brown skin.

Nose enlargement- This condition can Thickens the
skin of the nose, which lead to enlargement of
the nose this occurs mostly in men then in women.
Burning sensation- In this condition the skin of
affected part may feel burning and heating
sensation.
Other symptoms person may experience are -

-Stinging and burning of your skin -Patches of
rough, dry skin -A swollen, bulb-shaped
nose -Larger pores -Broken blood vessels on your
eyelids -Bumps on your eyelids -Problems with
seeing
Causes of rosacea-
The exact cause of rosacea is not yet fully known
, but here are the most common causes that may
trigger and cause rosacea-
Family history - Many people with rosacea have
close relation with this condition, it can be
caused due to genetic and healthy tree component
and having any past family history can lead to
cause in the next generation.
Abnormal blood vessels- Especially suggest that
the facial blushing or the spider veins in
rosacea are due to abnormal blood vessels of the
face, abnormal means any inflammation or
infection in the blood vessels that cause rosacea.

Mites- These are the tiny insects that are called
as demodex follicularum which normally lives on
the skin and it's harmful, some of the people
that are very sensitive to these mites have high
risk of causing rosacea. Some of the other causes
that trigger rosacea are-

• Eating too spicy
• Red wine and other alcoholic beverages
• Extreme exposure to the sunlight
• Some of the cosmetic skin product
• Drugs that lead to violation of blood vessels
• Intestinal bacteria helicobacter pylori
• Absence of cathelicidin(a protein that protects
  this can from infections)
