INTRODUCTION
  • Gangtok may be an ancient city, but it offers all
the executions of the modern city in contrast to
the breathtaking beauty of the royal
Kanchenjunga. The land of monasteries, filthy
trails, waterfalls, peaceful lakes and the
jaw-dropping vistas is one of India's most
popular destinations and Gangtok tourism also
attracts crowds from all over the world.

3
Spirituality Calling
  • The city has a Buddhist presence and you can't
leave the monasteries when you go to Gangtok
holiday packages. Most are thousands of years old
and you may even get a glimpse of some of the
inhabitants here, who are themselves the oldest
    living disciples of Lord Buddha.

4

Festivals
  • Gangtok is a pottery of religions and cultures,
each with its own festivals. The biggest
Wednesday festival in Gangtok is Saga Dawa. The
joy of the month is reminiscent of Wednesday's
birth, its enlightenment, and the resulting
    salvation.

5
Thrills And Adventures
  • Gangtok, one of the most exciting caves in the
Himalayas, is a destination of adventure and
thrills along the slopes. These caves provide an
opportunity to be part of a long journey and
embrace the things provided by nature during your
    journey.

6

Markets And Shopping
  • Sikkim tea comes from the Temi Tea Garden, south
of Sikkim, and is one of the most popular
shopping in Gangtok. The jewelry, clothes,
paintings and wooden maps you find in the bazaars
when you shop in Gangtok tour packages are a
reflection of the local art and culture.

7
Cuisine
  • With lush valleys and scenic views, Gangtok is a
popular stop in Sikkim. While the atmosphere in
all these places may not be as pleasant as one
might expect, the food and hospitality they offer
is worth every penny you spend. Read For More
