Title: Car Wing Mirrors
1car Wing mirrors
Car wing mirrors have undergone a bit of a revamp
in recent years, being reinvigorated to comply
with the demands of our
2consumerist and technology driven world these
days. Some wing mirrors can be readjusted in some
cars at the touch of a button or knob inside the
car. Known as power car wing mirrors, they can
even be set according to particular memory
controls in the car. For instance, in some cars
such as the Saab 9-5, the wing mirrors can be set
in a
3particular position for each driver that uses the
car. This can then be stored in the memory
controls of the car meaning the wing mirrors can
be readjusted at the touch of a button. Power
mirrors can also be useful in situations such as
parking. The passenger window can be moved in
order to view the other side of the car against
the pavement. It
4may also be useful when driving through a very
narrow space. Drivers can find mirrors these days
in a range of different colours and can even have
them painted in a different colour to the rest of
the car if they want to make more of a
statement. Cars have mirrors at each of their
sides to allow them to
5catch a glimpse of what is happening on the road
behind them. These mirrors need to be adjusted in
a way that allows the driver to be able to see
part of the road at each side of the car, just on
the off chance that another driver is overtaking
them. If the windows do not show enough of the
road, this could actually create a 'blind spot'
that could lead to problems.
6The rear-view mirror also lets the driver see
what is happening out their back window. This is
useful if they are reversing or cannot get a full
view using their side mirrors for instance.
