Plug in your Linksys re6400 extender setup device
with the suitable power outlet of your home.
The Power LED lights on your Linksys Extender
should be lit-up when you plug in the range
extender. If the Power LED does not illuminate,
push the Power or on/off button. Now, you have
to connect your computer or the configuration
device to the Wi-Fi network of your Linksys WIFI
extender.

• Open a web browser of your choice and search for
  linksyssmartwifi.com web page.

2 . The New Linksys Extender Setup page will
appear on the screen of your device.

redirected to accept the terms and conditions

unlock the interface page.
5 . This information is required to unlock the
Linksys extender re6400 settings on your web
browser.

information.

default password is password for your Linksys
Extender setup page.

security questions from the drop-down menu.

buttons for the networks 2.4GHz as well as
5GHz WIFI frequency bands and the Wi-Fi Network
Names (SSID) on your Linksys re6400 extender
setup page. There is no need to use any password
for the extender network. You just have an
internet connection. If you dont have an
Internet connection, then your computer will send
you an alert message.
