5 things you can do to prevent muscle
cramps
2
Eat a nutritious diet
When it comes to muscle cramps, we dont factor
in lifestyle choices we make when thinking of why
we may experience it. However, not having a
nutritious diet, which includes essential micro
and macro-nutrients can determine how often and
how gravely do we experience muscle cramps.
3
Increase physical activities
Working from home or office means that we spend
most of our time sitting and staring at our
laptops, which has adverse effects on our
physical health and fitness levels. Most of our
muscle cramps and aches can be traced to leading
a sedentary lifestyle, which is why a lot of
physiotherapists also suggest doing a few
exercises for back pain treatment, in addition to
using back pain gel or cold gel packs.
4
Warm up
Warming up or stretching before an intense and
after an intense workout is extremely important,
as it increases blood flow to your muscles, which
helps fasten the recovery process and reduce the
risk of injury.
5
Take rest
  • Muscle cramps or aches can occur despite you
having a rather active life in general,
especially when you dont take enough rest. It is
important to give your muscle the time to heal
and recover, even if theres no apparent injury.
So, working out on alternate days instead of
everyday may be a good idea.

6
Take it easy
  • A lot of us jump right into intensive workouts,
which may injure us. Instead of diving right into
it, increasing the intensity of your workout
gradually is far better for your physical health
    as well.
