The Seychelles archipelago is a real nature
reserve in the Indian Ocean, 40 of its territory
is under state protection. Seychelles animals
are mostly endemic, you will not meet them in the
wild anywhere else on Earth.

The Seychelles giant tortoises are amazing
creatures that you can meet at any islands of the
archipelago. However, most of the population
lives at Curiese Island in the natural reserve
Aldabra. They can weigh up to 200 kilos!

Seychelles birds are another pride of the natural
parks of the archipelago. Visit Bird Island to
get to know the unique world of birds. More than
a million individuals fly here annually for
nesting.

If you are lucky, you can also find such
representatives of the local fauna Seychelles
frog Gardiner the size of a little finger
Seychelles tailbat (lives only on the island of
Silhouette and in the western part of Mae) a
giant Tenebrionid beetle - the largest flying
beetle in the world. a huge palm thief or
coconut crab weighing up to 3-4 kilograms.
