3 LAMP
- LAMP is an acronym for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and
PHP. It is a web development platform that is
open-source and serves the purpose of building
dynamic websites as well as web applications. It
is one of the most common examples of a web
service stack.
4 LEECH
- Leech refers to a visitor who uses the password
of another person in order to access a websites
restricted area. cPanel has an interface called
Leech Protection which can be used to redirect
leeches as well as disable the accounts with
compromised passwords. It can be done by clicking
on cPanel -gt Home -gt Security -gt Leech Protection.
5 Legacy
- Legacy refers to an old software program or
computer system that continues to be in use. It
can indicate a previous version as well, of a
cPanel WHM feature. -

7 Linked Node
- A linked node is that node which a server
administrator designates for the purpose of
either assigning tasks to or receiving tasks from
another node.
8 Linux
- Linux is an open-source operating system that is
based on the Linux kernel. - Linux based web hosting service is provided by

web hosting services. Web hosting service makes
it possible for websites to be accessible over

- A local user as opposed to a remote user, refers
to that user of a service who accesses that
particular service from the same device on which
the service exists.
11 Log
Log is a file that is automatically created by
the server. It records those activities that are
performed by specific programs and applications
on the server. To digress, servers are used by
web hosting companies to store the files of
websites that lease server space, technology and
services from these companies. These web hosts
