Crop rotation

• Crop rotation can be classified as a type of
  subsistence farming if there is an individual or
  communal farmer doing the labor and if the yield
  is solely for their own consumption
• The general purposes of rotations are
• To improve or maintain soil fertility, reduce
  erosion, reduce the build-up of pests.
• To spread the workload, reduce risk of weather
  damage.
• To reduce reliance on agricultural chemicals, and
  increase net profits.
