What is OST File?

• OST file is the offline storage table. It works
  in offline mode. All the modification done in
  offline mode will be updated once it is sync with
  internet. Outlook file contains contacts,
  calendar, emails,etc.

• PST is a personal storage table. It is stored on
  user hard disk. PST files are also used by IMAP
  and HTTP. It consist of emails, journals,
  calendar, etc.

• Step1) Open Outlook. Click on file gtgt info gtgt
  account setting.
• Step2) From account setting click on Microsoft
  exchange.
• Step3) Click on more settings.
• Step4) Select Advanced from Microsoft Windows
  Exchange.
• Step5) Click on offline folder setting.
• Step6) Select path for OST file.
• Step7) Click on OK then on finish.
