Setting a Budget
  • Setting the right budget will help you pick the
suiting components that you would want in your
    gaming system.
  • This would mean having a high budget will ensure
that you have the best components available in
    the market.
  • A lower budget on the other hand will fetch you
decent hardware for a lower cost and give out
average results as compared to a high end gaming
    system.
  • Once you have set a budget you can easily know
what hardware to choose and where you want to
    compromise.
  • You can have a high-end rig with cheaper
peripherals, like the best parts in the case and
a cheap pc monitor, speakers, keyboard and a
    mouse.

Choosing the right parts
  • Building a high end gaming rig will require for
you to choose the right parts.
  • For example, if you are choosing an Intel or an
AMD build. Where you will need to pick a
motherboard according to the choice of your
    processor.
  • If you are building an extreme rig without
thinking too much over the parts then you may
just want to choose the best hardware in the
    market for your system.
  • Along with an extreme CPU the peripherals you
    select also matter.
  • So a high end gaming PC monitor along with a
gaming mouse and keyboard is a must.
  • Listed below are a couple of systems you can
build depending on either a high cost budget or a
    low cost budget.

Low cost budget Intel or AMD rig
  • A budget PC will mean having parts that wont be
performing extreme tasks but will get the job
    done.
  • In order to build a low cost budget PC you might
want to go for the Intel Pentium processor or an
    AMD Ryzen 3 processor.
  • You can also pick an Intel i3 processor for few
    extra bucks.
  • To team up with the processor a micro-atx board
    will be the best fit.
  • Next we come to the ram, 8 gigs of any budget ram
with good speeds will be suitable for this build.
  • For storage you can either go for the 1TB WD blue
mechanical drive or a 256gb SSD.
  • To push all the pixels to the PC monitor you can
opt for a graphics card, which could be a gtx
    1050/106 or the RX 560/570.
  • A stock cooler for the CPU and a 450/500 watt
computer power supply will help you power up the
    system.
  • A basic budget case can be the enclosure of
    choice.
  • Once you have build the CPU its now time to
    choose the peripherals.
  • A 21 inch PC monitor will let you game at 1080p
without any hassle, and computer monitors in
Australia are easy to find thanks to websites
    like JW, Amazon etc.

Building an Extreme rig
  • When you have no limits on the budget for the
kind of hardware you need, its a common practice
to choose only the most expensive and extreme
    level PC parts.
  • NO! thats not it, having no limits on your
budget will help you choose from a range of
hardware without having to worry about its cost.
  • For this rig the processor of choice can be an
    Intel 8th gen 8700k, AMDs Ryzen 7, Intels i9
    extreme processor or AMDs threadripper.
  • Teamed up with one of these processors is an
    extreme motherboard which supports overclocking,
upto 8 ram slots, built in fan support, wifi,
    usb-type c, etc.
  • For the ram you can either go for a dual 8 gb kit
or a quad 8 gb kit. Giving you upto 16 or 64 gigs
    of ram.
  • Storage can be divided into two for this build
either a combination of a ssd with a mechanical
drive or a complete SSD setup in raid.

  • For the mechanical / SSD combo you can choose a
500gb SSD or m.2 nvme with a 2/4 terabyte HDD or
you can go with a 500 gb m.2 nvme with a dual 1
    TB SSD in raid.
  • In order to get the best frames for the system
you can add dual graphics card in SLI or AMD RX
580 or vega GPUs. Nvidias GTX 1080ti is one of
the most blooming GPUs currently in the market
but if you want to go for total over kill the
Titan X is the card to go with.
  • You can also go for a fully water cooled system
    with EKs water cooling solution.
  • Once you have your extreme rig in place its time
to add peripherals to the beast a powerful PC
monitor, gaming mechanical keyboard and a gaming
    mouse and gaming headsets.
  • Computer monitors in Australia can be found
    online as well as offline.
  • A complete gaming and productivity rig is ready.
