PROGRAM

• Launched in April 2009, the main objective
  behind this program was to streamline admission
  and visa process for Canadian Community Colleges
  which would increase visa success rates.
• There are around 42 Universities/Institutes under
  SPP which are counted in the list of renowned
  universities. Bothe Govt. or Public funded.
• Start your application process 3 months before
  the intakes.
• Go through the list of colleges under SPP,
  admission criteria, deadlines etc.

Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC)

• What is GIC ?
• GIC stands for Guaranteed Investment
  Certificate, it is a short term liquid investment
  usually for up to a year offered by Canadian
  Banks. As per the Citizen Immigration Canada
  (CIC) requirements under Student Partner Program
  (SPP) Visa, the students applying under SPP Visa
  Category are required to invest CA 10,000 in GIC
  with Scotia Bank in Canada. If the student is
  applying under University Category Visa then GIC
  is optional for them. The students cannot
  withdraw the full amount from GIC account at
  once.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR STUDENT VISA

• Academic documents along with Passport (Attested
  photocopy).
• Passport size photographs of 2 inches by 1.5 to 2
  inches.
• Application forms.
• Bank statements from at least 1 year, salary
  forms (form 16) if an employee, copy of education
  loan.
• Evidence of purchase of GIC from a participating
  Canadian financial institution (Scotia Bank).
• Work experience (if any).
• IELTS overall bands not less than 6.0 or
  TOEFL/GRE/GMAT accepted.
• Copy of medical examination form IMM 1017.
• Gap proofs
• Visa fee- 150 CAD paid in Cash at VFS

• Sponsors can be parents/grand parents/ siblings
  if not married/spouse.
• Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) showing
  funds of CAD 10,000. (Highly recommended).
• Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank
  equivalent to 10 000 CAD.
• Saving account/ FD/PF/PPF/GPF/NSE/KVP/LIC/Post
  office Savings/Govt. securities accepted.
• J form/Income certificate from Tehsildar
• ITR-3years
• In case of Govt. employees Reference letter
  from Govt. organization is required
