2The owner of Kapil Infocomm, Kapil Chugh,
announced that his company will provide Wi-Fi
services across eight stadiums in India during
the Cricket World Cup. The services, named
KapilNet, would be available to people who would
come to see the cricket games in HPCA stadium in
Dharamshala, IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali,
Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Wankhede
Stadium in Mumbai, Eden Gardens in Kolkata, and
Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi

5This is according to the officials of the
company. Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi has a capacity
of 40,000 spectators while Wankhede Stadium in
Mumbai can host 33,000 spectators and Eden
Gardens in Kolkata has a capacity of 68,000
spectators. Kapil Infocomm installed around 700
points of access at Kotla beside fifty small
cells in order to support 4G services immediately
after its commercial launch.

7An average of 550 points of access for Wi-Fi
services have been installed in other stadiums.
1,200 points of access have been established in
the Kolkata stadium in order to offer seamless
services to users.

9Kapil Chugh told reporters that 130 Gbps backhaul
support the network to make sure 20 Mbps for
around 35,000 spectators during the games. Kapil
Chugh added that the service will provide
unlimited access and will be complimentary for
spectators.
