Introduction After 50 years of being in business
Sea Treasures recently began having a customer
base shrinkage, slow sales and are now facing the
decision to reduce staff and close stores. As
the Sales and Marketing Director, it is my job to
figure out an innovative change for Sea Treasures
to CHANGE MODEL 2 prevent them from going out of
business completely. After many months, I was
able to convince the owner to start an internet
business to sell some of our larger aquarium
items, which I believe will increase revenue and
sustain the business. This will be a short-term
change for the company, and within six months we
will sell live creatures, which will be a long
term, large scale change. To make these changes
successful, I think it will be best to use
Ackerman and Andersons roadmap for our short
term change and Cummings and Worleys five
dimensions of leading and managing change for the
long term.
