  • Sadaqa jariya is a form of charity which is given
and the reward are accumulated and carried with
you in the grave. When you are born, you dont
bring anything and when you die you dont carry
anything with you. So, the things and wealth
which you earn during life should be shared with
needy people while you are alive. This way
whenever you die you are able to carry good deed
    and thoughts along with you.

What is Zakat?
  • Charity is also known as Zakat in Islam religion.
Zakat is giving alms to people who are in need.
It is one of the five pillars of Islam religion.
Every individual owns certain amount of wealth,
so every Muslim can donate certain portion of
their earning or savings to the poor and needy.
It is not mandatory to donate or recommended, but
a Muslim who is financially stable must donate
money for people who are in need.
  • According to Islamic religion, people receive
wealth and money from God, so they can share it
among the members in their community who are in
need. Islam religion encourages people to share
their wealth and help others this will increase
productive members in the society and also enable
each man to take a stand of their own.

Why should you Donate?
  • Zakat is not voluntary or mandatory but it is an
    obligation. According to Islamic religion,
whatever a person own is given to them by Allah
and they do not own any of it. Thus the wealth
and things which they own must be used to
remember Allah and to help others who are in
need. Zakat is also an act which helps to free
oneself from greed, excess desires and learn
    self-discipline.

Brief of Zakat and Sadaqa Jariya
  • Zakat means purification in Arabic it helps
purify persons heart from greed and evil
thoughts. Everyone loves their wealth and always
tries to protect it. Thus, every wealthy Muslim
who is capable to donate or contribute must share
2.5 of their annual income to the poor and
needy. Zakat is also a thanksgiving to Allah as
he is the one who has given them all the wealth
and riches. When a person dies no one will
remember how much money or wealth he owns, people
always remember the good deeds or bad deeds done
by one. There are various Muslim charities UK
organizations that collect money, food and other
things from donors. Hence individuals willing to
contribute can approach to such organizations and
    give their share to them.
