Belly Dance is said to have originated in the
Middle East there are varied accounts of this
expressive and beautiful dance throughout the
annals of history as a social ritual and a form
of communication between individuals to connect
through the art of movement. Once westernized, it
became a symbol of distinctive performance and
unique reverence to the talent of choreographed
exhibition.

In honor of the eloquence and fluency of belly
dancing, otherwise called danse du ventre
(French for Belly Dance), Raqs Sharqi (Eastern
Dance), or Raqs Beledi (Country Dance or
