• Basbousa is an traditional Middle Eastern sweet
  cake which is originally from Egypt.

• The traditional way of making basbousa is just
  mixing up the butter, coconut, semolina and all
  other ingredients and place it in an oven until
  it becomes golden brown.

• The difference in this type is that we add yogurt
  . Rest all the ingredients are the same.
• Yogurt makes the basbousa a little more softer
  and lighter and also it adds a special flavor to

• Along with the usual ingredients of basbousa, we
  will add extra milk, eggs for the cream and the
  pistachio nuts. This contains more calories than
  a simple Basbousa.
