• This week, Meet Sally is officially launching our
  first product, Sally, the AI-powered assistant
  for your busy life.
• Over the past year or so, weve been busy
  creating the next-generation assistant to save
  you time and make you more productive each and
  every day.

Idea To Create Sally

• We came up with the idea to create Sally because
  like you, we found ourselves wasting considerable
  time each day setting up calls and meetings.
  Dealing with endless back-and-forth emails,
  sending out calendar invites and managing
  last-minute scheduling changes were a major drain
  on our productivity.
• To figure out just how much time we were wasting,
  we started tracking how much time we spent
  setting up meetings. It turns out, we were
  spending more than 10 of our working hours
  scheduling meetings.

Scheduling Meetings

• For example, a typical 30-minute meeting took
  around 15 minutes to set up. Considering we
  scheduled an average of 6 meetings each day, we
  realized we were wasting upwards of 5 hours every
  week scheduling meetings.
• Despite all the productivity tools we were using
  every day, a basic task such as meeting
  scheduling still required a lot of tedious
  effort.
• We knew there had to be a better way.

AI-powered Assistant Solution

• We started talking to busy professionals from a
  range of industries to understand the pain points
  they face around scheduling meetings. Startup
  CEOs, sales people and HR professionals, among
  others, explained the challenges they face
  managing their day-to-day schedules. They also
  told us what theyd like to see in a solution.
• From our on-the-ground discussions, we learned
  that an AI-powered assistant solution needed to
  do two things. First, it needed to work as
  seamlessly as a real person. Second, it needed to
  go beyond meeting scheduling and help with other
  administrative tasks as well.
• We took these insights and set out to develop a
  solution.
