  refrigeration and will last up to two years in a
  sealed container in the pantry, but cooked black
  beans or open black bank beans require special
  treatment before they cool. You can not simply
  leave them in the pot or pan. Proper storage of
  black beans will ensure their freshness and will
  not allow them to absorb the metallic flavors of
  using the wrong container.

  temperature.Transfer the beans from the cooking
  pots or plastic sealed jars or glass
  vessel.Seal the container and put it in the
  refrigerator for up to four days.
