    traditionally been more of an art than science
    due to the fact that accessing enough good data
    in order to make good decisions has been a
    challenge.
  • After countless conversations with Event Service
    leaders, we found that there was considerable
    interest in developing more standards throughout
    the industry, as well as a need for further
    information related to best practices. That is
    why we decided to poll the industry and explore
    any emerging trends, prevailing benchmarks, or
    other efficiencies that could be learned, shared
    and potentially applied. The results of this
    survey are below.

    still rely on manual processes, such as paper
    time sheets, for tracking hours worked.
