How Often Should A Watch Be Serviced
For any mechanical watch its generally about 5
years. But its hard to say accurately. You can
know your watch need servicing once it fails to
keep the right time.

Dis-assemble The Movement
You can completely ruin the watch in the process
if you are not experienced enough. Disassembling
the hands are the first step of a mechanical
watch servicing. Then the removal of the hand
gears.

Oiling And Cleaning the Parts
Now, each part of the watch is cleaned using an
ultrasonic cleaner. The the watch accessories
are dried in a paper towel. Now, its time to
oil the parts for lubrication.

Re-assembling The Watch
This is simply the reverse of disassembling the
watch. Now we put the cleaned parts together
with proper care. The hands and the dial can be
replaced if required.

Servicing a mechanical watch is not a piece of
cake. Not for every experienced watchmakers in
